It all started around 1971 when I was five years old - Grandma taught me how to play ukulele. My first song was "Sweet Georgia Brown". My folks listened to lots of Earl Garner, Wes Montgomery, Austrid Gilberto, Sergio Mendez, Brazil 66, Teddy Wilson, and most important, The Mills Brothers. For my 10th birthday I got my first guitar. A Red Starburst steel string acoustic out of the Sears catalouge. I still remember the day the delivery truck came to the house and smell of the brown cardboard box & packaging it came with.....
