Story behind the song
When I was a boy my grandfather had a church in Jonesport Maine. When we came to visit I loved to walk up the hill to the church and lay on the concrete steps. Of course only when it was warm. I would watch the clouds and listen to the chimes. I loved that old church and the view of the sea. I remembered what it was like to be young.
Lyrics
