Story behind the song
No lyrics yet, but this is my idea behind the song. Picture this. You have a childhood friend of yours that you used to be really close with. However for some reason, you all fall off for a long time, until one day perhaps by fate, you meet again. Now like never before you begin to spend more and more time with this childhood friend until one day it hits you. It hits you hard too as you think to yourself, “I’m in love.” You know it in your soul and you feel like this situation was God ordained. Now you know she (he in your cases ladies) has similar feelings for you and finally one day you decide to tell her/him. As you are relaying your feelings you notice how your childhood friend trembles and doesn't look you in the eye. But then, you tell your friend to look up and as you look into their eyes you can see mutual feelings hiding behind fear. So now you just wait. You wait for seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and sometimes as unfortunate as it may be......you wait for years. Do you move on or do you keep waiting? No matter how much you want to move on, something keeps telling you to wait.
