Old rock band guy from the '60s. Bass player mostly in bands. Play guitar, piano & mandolin for fun. These recordings are things I've made at home.
I'm a semi-retired musician who has been playing music since the 1960s. I have mostly played bass in the bands, but I also play guitar, mandolin & piano.

Story behind the song
Donnie's original melody still reminds me of our visit to Scotland. Donny lives in Scotland, I live in the U.S.A. We thought it would be fun to do an original song together from different countries. Donny put down the guitar & drum tracks in Scotland, and had his dad add some sweet old-school button box accordion. Then he sent the tracks to me. I added bass and an extra guitar part on the finale and mixed it all down. "Speyside Memories" is because Donny lived on the River Spey, and we visited him there on our motorcycle ride around Scotland. It is a beautiful area in the northern highlands.
