I got a Roy Rogers guitar with song book for Christmas in 1958. I learned a little and put it aside. In '63 a kid brought his electric guitar to school and played "Pipeline" at our sock hop. It looked easy, so I started a garage band. Eventually, I needed money for gas and dates, so I got a real job. We disbanded in '66, but best friend, Freddie, and I kept jamming over the years. We recently worked on a song he wrote and it inspired me to write my own music. Please listen and post a message.

Story behind the song
What happens after a break up, it's hard to believe.
Lyrics
You’re Really Gone 1) It’s two AM time to go home Last call for the night I’ll drink it alone The watch you gave me reminds me you’re gone 2) Since you left me I’ve been a mess I’ve lost weight and don’t care how I dress Your empty closet reminds me you’re gone (Chorus) I tried pretending after you left That I was fine but it’s a case of grand theft You stole my heart then you threw it away 3) Please don’t call me or send me a text I’m really trying hard to forget The end of the day reminds me you’re gone (Chorus and repeat verse 3) (Finale) When I wake up, you’re really gone Words and Music © 2006 A.P.
