The sixth track for Bushido. Oddly enough, so many people liked the original version of this song (released as part of the first NWA album, 'Straight Outta Cherry ILL') that I decided to make a sequel. Go figure!
Name: Jeremy Blum
Nicknames: Blummer, JB, JAB, Shoryu
Crew: Nerds While AZN
Nationality: Half White, Half Asian (you figure out the exact mix)
Biggest Musical Influences - Mike Shinoda, Tiger JK (of Drunken Tiger), Tablo (of Epik High)
I started rapping in 2003 years ago, mainly because I really loved hip-hop and wanted to try creating my own musical works. I quickly found out that I had a knack for it, and I also discovered that I loved making music and sharing it with the world. I originally began rapping with my crew, Nerds While AZN (if you haven't already, you should check our group site out @ soundclick.com/nerdswhileazn) but since then I've mostly done solo work and have finished three mixtapes on my own. I hope you'll enjoy my music, find something that you think sounds tight, and come away with a few favorites. Thanks.
Lyrics
Blummer - Take You To Church Pt. 2
aiyo, i do this with my family, we ride or die
you better scatter like roaches, we aim for the sky
rain down on you cats, exposing the truth
cracking window glass, crashing down the roof
there's a lot of tough talk that you hear nowadays
trash talkin' kids think they got bullets to spray
ridiculous, son, you're only fifteen years old
right outta Pampers, you're fake like fool's gold
don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk
don't talk the talk if you're just gonna balk
not just youngsters now think they're hard
you got grown dudes frontin' like they've been behind bars
since when'd it get cool to act like you've been in the pen?
just wannabe G-Unit talk all over again
what you know about Magnums, Glock 37s?
Counter-Strike facts won't send anyone to heaven
calm down, yo, epitome of stupidity
ignorance asserted with zero validity
you don't live in the ghetto, you live in the burbs
you're dirt rich, you've never dealt with the birds
you're living a pipe dream, something from ganja
the perception's messed and i don't understand ya
don't get me wrong, i do respect the real
but let me be straight up frank, you ain't keepin' it real
(chorus) x2
once again, another mass contention
another false, infuriating convention
hypocrites and liars, you're now in the lurch
it's exposure, i'ma take you to church
though the fakes are bad, the backstabbers are worse
even worse than a thief, who's only after your purse
'cause they're after your reality, insiduous lies
they throw at you with a smile, try to catch you by surprise
a rough concept to handle, when your "best friend"
might flip around, betray you when they're in a dead end
oh, it's amazing what people will do to save their own ass
it's incredible how some folks forget the past
how could you ever talk shit 'bout a person you know
then turn around, grin in their face like "i dunno!"
man, don't give me that, i know how it's going down
don't be giving me apologies, hugs, fake pounds
you're a liar, a fraud, a punk, a pussy, a Stan
a coward who'd never dare to go at me hand to hand
then again, i wouldn't bother, you can hold your peace
you're a traitor, kinda like what Judas did to Jesus
didn't think it'd come to this, i did you no wrong
but now i'm writing these lyrics and i'm making this song
airing you out, you ain't a friend of mine
you should stay in the dirt, yo, you're lower than slime
and for the rest of ya'll, please back the fuck off
don't gimme that "don't forget me when you're famous" talk
you never did jack for me when i was nothing
just 'cause i can rap you think i now owe you somethin'?
bitch please
(chorus) x2
