Story behind the song
This song was inspired by a close friend who was going through a very hard time in her life. I wanted to let her know that no matter how bad things can seem to be, that she would always be a special light in my life. This version was recorded as a shorter version, with the third verse and prechorus removed. Recorded in its entirety in 4 hours *whew*! Piano part was a straight shot, and vocals were recorded in 6 takes total for the lead and all harmonies. Yes, I'm playing all the instruments :)
