Kinda laid back and easy to listen to. I like this one.
Keyboards guitars and singers of easy listening music
Welcome to my world of Music. I have written many songs and have stepped in and out of Country here and there into Pop and World music for I love it all. There are so many genres that I call my music easy listening, though some of it is a bit toe tapping. Be it Classical or Bluegrass be it music. I am a solo act with friends joining me in the performances. I never know who will be singing or playing with me. Age or gender are not a factor with me and I am at home with anyone who enjoys music and it's creation as much as I do

Story behind the song
Owen Miller, the singer here, has been on this trip before in his life. Sharon Longworth had the words just right for his experiences. I thought the music should just kind of lope along with the mood. A simple song, a simple melody, easy listening.
Lyrics
Road to Recovery Sharon Longworth and Idamarie Naelitz (C) 2001 CHORUS: Now I've been down and I've been out Nothin' left to worry about The sun will rise when I wake up N it will set when day is done I spend the hours after that Where I can always hang my hat I'm just another broken heart On the road to recovery Verse 1: I found a new home where the ceilings are low And the beer flows endlessly. The Tv Is on Friends are around But they don't bother me CHORUS: Verse 2: It's a place called Jim's Dew Drop Inn Sometimes the corner cafe The door's never lock ( The door has no locks) The juke box don't rock ( The jukebox rocks) I'm welcome here anyday CHORUS; Verse 3: Another round, Jim Keep the lights dim I've got no place to go My Sweetheart Is gone So until the dawn This is where I call home CHORUS:
