I'm an emcee from Oak Park, just west of Chicago. I'm 19 goin on 20 and a junior at Illinois State University (Normal, IL). I produce all my instrumentals, I take my writing very seriously, and I beatbox (THA FIFTH ELEMENT!) Story behind the song
HomeGrown's finally back from spending a semester in Hawaii, so it was about time we collaborated again. He had a beat from a friend in the Aloha State so we set up the studio in my apartment and got to it. Of course, we got drunk and freestyled all night instead of recording, but we got to it very early the next morning.
