Canadian composer of original jazz fusion.
I studied classical composition at Carleton University. I then moved to Montreal to study jazz composition with Andrew Homzy and Joe Sullivan. I am currently studying counterpoint in the Baroque style. My plan is to meld classical with jazz harmonies scored for an electronic orchestra.

Story behind the song
I was originally trying to mix celtic fiddle melodies in a jazz context but I needed some breathing space for the trumpet player. When everything came together it sounded quite different from celtic fiddle music! Alex Barham - Guitars, Gordon Allen - Trumpet, Peter Turpin - Bass, Noel Webb - Drums
