Thanks for visiting! Music offers a means of communicating that which we have always felt, but never knew how to say. It offers prayers in groans and utterances that words cannot contain. Before an audience, music connects. It offers a bond between humanity. it whispers “I too know sorrow, I too have joy.” Each phrase has a meaning, a memory, a moment that it captures though different for every man. It is, for me, the closest thing to speaking in tongues. I have often wondered what the purpose of music is. What place does it have in nature? What role in my life? It is a bridge. It is a mouthpiece. It is a prayer. May God delight in it.
