No band... just me.
***** Updated 9-10-2007 ***** 9/10/07 New song added to my Music page. I recently returned to the music business after retiring in 1985. I played professionally for 15 years prior to retiring. I've been working on my guitar/bass playing as well as my vocals for the past few years in hopes of starting or getting back into a consistant and professional band. Had a couple of projects that didn't work out (2005 & 2006) but I'm still hoping to run into the right folks. If I have to live in one genre it would be Southern Rock even though I also play & write Rock, Pop, and Country with a little Blues, Soul, Jazz, and Bluegrass thrown in for spice. When you listen to one of my songs in a way I have touched your life, that is very cool Also check out my MySpace site... http://www.myspace.com/mickradar or my SongRamp home... http://www.songramp.com/homepage.php?Who=Pops

Lyrics
Sometimes A Smile (© 2006 Michael Adair) As I travel ‘cross this great big land From sea to shining sea I’ve run in to many a man And woman that’s in need As we travel through our daily grind There is one thing that I see We all need a little joy in our life We could use it, you and me Sometimes a smile Sometimes a smile is Sometimes a smile is so hard to find I saw a man standing in line The look was on his face He had been there such a long long time Occupying the same place I heard a woman as she told her friend That her life had passed her by Her voiced quivered and her head was bent A tear was in her eye Sometimes a smile Sometimes a smile is Sometimes a smile is so hard to find I saw a family as they looked at their home Wind had blown it away Nothing standing on that site Here last night and gone today I saw a nation cry out in pain For the things they had to see Would they make it through the night What would be their destiny Every story has an ending There’s more than one way to say Don’t give up, never surrender Find a smile, make your day Sometimes a smile Sometimes a smile is Sometimes a smile is so hard to find Sometimes a smile Sometimes a smile is Sometimes a smile is so hard to find
