Lite contemporary worship song
worship praise christiansongwriter gospelgrass gary mott
I enjoy music from many different styles, and that is reflected in my song writing. I write gospel songs in Southern gospel, bluegrass, jazz, pop, blues, etc. styles. Although I have lead worship and played keys and sang at our church, I'm not seeking a career as a performing artist. I've been writing and playing Christian music for over 40 years. I only seek to have the Lord glorified in my music. I recorded these demo songs on my home studio to have something to present to publishers/gospel music artists and to worship leaders who would wish to use my songs in their praise and worship services.

Story behind the song
Don wrote some beautiful lyrics and asked if anyone had a melody to go with them. This is the melody I heard for these great lyrics.
Lyrics
Take this heart of mine Pour me out like a cup of wine For an offering To you, oh, Lord Melt this heart of ice Pour me out as a sacrifice Of your love To the world, oh, Lord Let my life bring praise to you let my life bring you praise chorus Nothing I can do Nothing I bring Is worthy of your love to me This life I have to live is all I have to give So Lord do what you want to do with me Just let my life bring praise to you let my life bring you praise Break my heart in two Let each part reach out in love To a hurting world, for You, oh, Lord Share your heart of grace Take me to the place of service, As you live Your life in me, Oh Lord Let my life bring praise to you Let my life bring you praise chorus [bridge] My life is hidden in You Lord and it's no longer I who live Let those around me see More of You, and less of me. Let my life bring praise to you Let my life bring you praise
