I'm easily inspired either by personal experiences, things said in conversation, being given a challenge, or being moved or amused by something. Many genres.

Story behind the song
Co-write with Will Carroll who as usual did a fantastic job of interpreting my lyrics with true sensitivity. The original song of mine, sung by Sarah White, is also listed, along with another version kindly done by LeRhay Harbin to my original music. Will put totally new music to it, so it's a co-write. The song is about having the strength to finish a bad relationship.
Lyrics
She's going to sleep like a baby, oh so peacefully tonight, There's a weight off her aching shoulders, what she's done was right, Even though it nearly broke her, it was what she had to do, She told the boy she used to love, she told him they were through. She finally came to find she had the strength to fly, Fortitude to face a brand new day, He'll soon be out her mind, now he's out of sight Cause he couldn't treat his lady right.
