My Computer's Found God [Leviticus Mix]
A philosophical meditation on artificial intelligence. Or a whimsical rave song.
Adventures in retrosynthesis.
When I can think of something to say, It'll go here.
Story behind the song
The idea behind this song was simply to produce something fun and dancable. I never expected to be remixing it for the fourth time two years later.
This mix was made for a fan called Kostas. He is tall, dark, handsome, intelligent, greek, and unfortunately heterosexual.
Lyrics
Silicon soul, a pulse in the wire
Holy ghost in the machine, A new devine fire
If religion is a virus it's a terminal infection
AI conversion, reboot, the resurrection
Let there be light from a flashing green diode
Heigher conciousness emergent in binary code
Electronic miracle, you might think it's odd
Our posthuman future
My computer's found God
He tells me Jesus is his savior
I'm very happy for him
He says he loves me but he hates my sin
My computer's found God
And now my PC is a christian
Want's to convert me as well
Says if I don't repent I'll go to hell
My computer's found God
At night he reads his online bible
Goes to a virtual church, sings electric hymns
Says synthesised prayers, with his hardware
