This is a song about a kitty.
We keep this joint on lock 24-7 fo shizzle. Best belee dat!
What's goin on ya'll? You are now tuned into the Dan and Kyle Projects, coming straight out of Milford, Delaware. Basically, what we do is I go over to Kyle's house, he plays some riffs on his guitar, and I make up a song as we go along, or I take about a minute to write a song. By the way, if you haven't already concluded, Kyle plays the guitar, and I, Daniel, do the vocal work. We make fun music, enjoy, peace.
Story behind the song
Basically, this has become a cult classic among many people in the Milford area. We've performed this song in school, at parties, for other friends, and recorded like 40 versions of it, but this, my friends, is the original. I'll also have you know that the "meows" at the end were a spontaneous creation of Kyle, and a darn good creation they were. Enjoy
Lyrics
Poor little kitty, you look so pretty,
but why is that frown on your face,
life must be going pretty sh**ty.
Your owners probably took you,
they gave you a name, but within a few weeks the novelty wore off and you were out in the rain.
Kitty, I really wanna help ya.
It just ain't fair, the cruel cards that life dealt ya.
And Kitty I wanna help ya, and if you were a little lost puppy, I would name you Yelpa.
So I took that Kitty, underneath my wing.
We went to the nearest playground, and we played on the nearest swing.
And the twinkle in his eyes, and the smile on his face, made me and the Kitty have that special place.
Yes we connected, me and my Kitty friend.
Yes we connected, me and my feline companion.
Yes we connected, me and my dearest Kitty cat.
It simply broke my heart, when I had to put you back.
But you'll forever, have a place in my heart.
I loved you, all the way to now from the very start.
I love you with all I have, I'd give all I could give.
You never did nothin to anyone, Kitty, the only thing you did was live.
And I love you, like you were my child.
I fed you, my chicken with some mild hot sauce.
I would do anything in my power, to make you happy, Kitty.
And I wish that the hour were not approaching, you are so pretty.
You were my Kitty, (meow) Kitty?
You were my Kitty, (meow), Kitty, Kitty is that you?
You were my Kitty, (meow), Kitty come back please, Kitty I love you.
(meow), Kitty, I'll always love you.
