Story behind the song
The song is written for my husband, who is a musician, and as such...he ALWAYS needs new 'toys'...like all musicians do. It's a happy and funny country song. Any musician will recognize the theme I guess...or their spouse will! Be sure to hear the endning! I find it funny too, that my husband actually sings background harmony vocal on this song. Inspirated also by two old Country Classics: 'It's Crying Time Again' and 'Ruby'.

When we talk about it, I say we've got all we need, but you come up with stuff, that you can't live without indeed! And so it's buying time again, you're gonna leave me now, I can see that 'buy-away-look' in your eyes! I try to hold you back, but you are slippery somehow, and not at all affected by my sighs! I always try to stop you, but I do not have that skill, cause when it comes to buying 'stuff', you've got an iron-will. I know my dear it hasn't got a thing to do with greed! As long as we've got space and money: buy all that you need!
