Story behind the song
"Show Me The Way" Here is a live recording from the board made at a concert in Paris France of a new tune I wrote for the Soul Singer "Mighty Sam McClain" as an introductory instrumental to open the show on his tour of Europe in the spring of 2006. It has now been released as a vocal with Sam & Jon Bon Jovi sharing the lyrics "written by Sam" The amazing thing is the lyrics perfectly reflect the meaning and inspiration I originally had for the tune and the recording is the lead off of a compilation CD "Give Us Your Poor" The profits from it go to help the homeless. available at http://www.amazon.com/Give-Your-Poor-Bruce-Springsteen/dp/B000U1ZJ1E From http://www.giveusyourpoor.org/index_1.php I truely believe God had a hand in this one.
