Story behind the song

I was at the swimming pool with my two children one day - I wanted to prepare them for leaving, so there wouldn't be any argument at the end of the session,so I told them a few times,"it'll soon be time to go."
Then I thought about life,and how short it seems when you are older.
That was my inspiration for this song!
