Strictly a demos only performer <br />Jam at live gigs sometimes and have a whole lotta fun doing it
I am writer, and general Mister Nice Guy. I am not a performer but manage to squeak out stuff good enough for others to hear and do better with. Lucky for you lot. I get a few other people to sing and play some of my stuff. I do make Karaoke tracks of my songs and perform them every Saturday night, trotting twix the two local pubs that do karaoke. I have a whole heap more fun than doing covers all the time. Most weeks having at least one new song to try out on the punters. Have seven recorded and getting airplay. And not only on my show Roar Radio either. Backing music for Born To Be Blue is now on a video showing the Esperance service providers. Out soon. More later.

Lyrics
Lucy Long Legs Copyright © Graham Henderson APRA 2006 They called her Lucy Long Legs. Said she was born to dance. ‘Cause she did anywhere. Given half a chance. She’d take on any fella. Who thought he thought he could propel her. Around floor good enough. To dance her out of her pants. Many tried some near died. None succeeded. Few men are made of. What Lucy really needed. One by one they bowed out. Admitting defeat. Lucy would yell out next. Without missing a beat. One day the club owner. Made a paid proposition. Said it would be good for trade. If they made a competition. Lucy said okay. And on dance off day. She turned up in her dancing shoes. And told the band to play. The band swung into jive time. For they’d been told. If they wanted to get paid. Not to let the beat get cold. And one by one those dancing dudes. Who queued eager for the prize. If they got the best of Lucy. Were boogied down to size. Instrumental Round about three o’clock. There was one Joe to go. He was a stayer. And putting on a show. But Lucy was holding her own. And not ready to retire. Then somebody yelled out Hell. The floor is on fire. But Lucy and twinkle toes. Danced on without a care. Even though it was bedlam. With smoke everywhere. And though brigades came. From all over town. Nothing could stop. That club from burning down. Now they’ve rebuilt the place. Giving it Lucy’s name. And a painting of the fateful night. Hangs in a gilded frame. And it’s still a jive joint. Though not as hot as before. But some swear when the band is cooking. They see smoke drifting around the floor.
