Bad recording, but it still stands on its own pretty well.

It's just me- Robbie Porter. I write songs, I record rough-as-a-cob demos, and then I foist them off on others. I just want to write these days. I like it, and I'm learning what I can and can't do musically. (It's not like I have a choice, really..40 year olds with questionable pitch and sanity are not exactly hot property in the Biz.)

Story behind the song
I wanted to write a "mental image" song- One that makes you think of a person, a feeling and a time. It's a montage of several moments, but it captures the essence of a very passionate relationship.
Lyrics
Baby/ we smolder/ on a lazy afternoon/ I see you eying me/and no one will intrude/ a quiet interlude You look/ like a goddess/ sillouhetted there/ in your silly underwear/ and I'm sure that you're aware that I burn Oh burn me down oh burn me down burn me down you come over quietly and you snuggle in my lap, hide your face in my neck and murmer in my ear and I burn and i burn? You ask me what could happen if we met in another time, would we still be lovers, and would you still be mine and I say Baby, be quiet when I kiss you/ I've got things I want to do to you/ and you just laugh at me, place your hands upon my face/ and softly kiss my lips and I burn
