A schizophrenic endurance test for breakdancers. Fast paced and constantly moving, this beat never stays still—it’ll test your speed like racing with a train, and test your rhythm like fighting a fire with kung-fu. Can you Break The Madness?

...ok, not really--but I am broke as hell. I run an independent recording studio out of San Luis Obispo California, (Read: A Playstation 2, a computer, and a keyboard from Radio Shack all hooked together with extension cords) and I do live and studio mixing/arranging under the name Dj Ch405. (Pronounced "Dj Chaos") I've been making music of various kinds since I was a kid, but have only recently gotten into arranging--and the equipment and programs I have to work with are decidedly limited--although you might not know it from listening to the tracks I'm making... ...I guess I'm just good at slumming it. I really don't know what genre you'd classify my work as--it's like the bastard child of techno, oldschool rap (back when it was still good) and heavy metal--not necessarily in that order. In short: Good music to blow something up to.

Story behind the song
Like most of my tracks, this one was written mainly by my subconscious. I just sit back and let this stuff flow through me, and then try and figure out what it is. In this case, it's a chaotic mess of a dance track. There's a rhythm here, but it's hard to catch--it's like someone took Jeet Kune Do's "Broken Rythm", and put music to it. Some things just can't be expressed in words, when you learn how to break to this, you'll know what it's trying to say.
