Lyrics
i wrote a eurovision hit in the seventies it's underground now my english is not a very pretty sight but i just sing very loud and people get excited and like a growling temptress i seduce them into the next bar and then i cry and the drums are a-bing and a-bonking to the sound of my tapping foot and the audience are clapping in and out of time and i don't know where i'm going my manager says if i sleep with him he'll give me a happy tune but my voice won't sing those happy melodies but a sad song always brings a tear and the drums are a-bing and a-bonking to the sound of my tapping foot and the audience are clapping in and out of time and i don't know where i'm going my manager says if i sleep with him he'll give me a happy tune but my voice won't sing those happy melodies oh... thankyou very much, england!
