Hello friends. I am a realtor in the Clear Lake, TX area and have been a breast cancer patient since 1998. Thank you so much for all the prayers and support that I've been receiving as I seek healing and wisdom from the Lord. And what a surprise and blessing to see MERCY RAIN at the top of the Contemporary Christian chart! WOW! Thanks. Here is my realtor website... SEPTEMBER 28th, 2006 UPDATE... Friends, family, countrymen.....My Fellow Americans! Once again, I come bearing news about cancer... but this time it is good news! As most of you know I was diagnosed as a Stage 4 in January which meant that the breast cancer had spread to my bone....not generally a good thing. I traveled far and wide to the most renowned and the best to get a consensus on the best approach to treatment. I started treatment with a drug called Zometa which is basically a bone strengthener, kind of like a megadose of an osteoporosis drug but they think it prevents new bone lesions from forming, and also a different estrogen blocking drug to starve the cancer cells. The treatment is not bad as far as cancer treatments go and believe me, I have had worse. It is once a month and just makes me feel like a slight flu for a day or two. I can live with that. Although I have been exhausted I have tried hard not to let it slow me down....too many things to do, places to go, and people to see! Today I got the great news that the treatment is working! My PET imaging report states that "the lesion has resolved in PET imaging, consistent with therapeutic response". I love those words! It is still there but healing over and will be checked for progress in another 3 months. My doctor says that because this treatment is working he will keep me on it indefinitely, I didn't want to hear that, but I can live with that, too. The treatment seems to be getting easier as my body gets use to it. I consider myself incredibly blessed to have: 1 - a body that let me know something was up early on 2 - a wonderful oncologist who listened to me and began checking early so that this was found before it was multiple lesions (it is unusual to find it when there is just one spot, it is usually not found until it is all over the place in the bone or other organs) 3 - a ton of people, family and friends and even many that I do not even know who have continued to pray for my healing...thank you all. and finally, the most important ingredient of all, an awesome God who is the greatest physician and healer, who works all things together for good for those who believe. God said "You are healed" and so I am! Thanks for all the continued support, it is greatly appreciated! Cindy (September 28, 2006)

MERCY RAIN Copyright © 2006 Lyrics by Deb Rempel & Diane Barnes, Music by Dale J. Mayer & Cindy Peterson. All rights reserved. Verse 1 We’re crying for Your presence, Thirsting for your touch. Choked by sands of sin, Lord, And desperate for Your love. We’ve wandered from Your fountain Of abundant life And drifted in the desert Of our foolish pride. Chorus Jesus, let Your mercy rain. Wash us of our shame. Flood our broken, weary souls. Let your healing water flow. Forgive us once again! Jesus, let Your mercy rain! Verse 2 We are through with wandering, Now we simply wait, Seeking you, dear Savior, With our fragile faith. We will not go on, Lord, ‘Til we hear You speak. Lord, we’ve finally fallen, We’ve fallen to our knees. Chorus Bridge We tremble in Your presence, In awe of what you are. You reach down to the dust, Lord, And draw us in Your arms! Chorus
