THE STORY BEHIND : between these daily thorns. this song has a very dramatic story. one evening, we sat with some friends and had some fellowship. we shared our lives. there was this new guy, who was a friend of someone. that evening, he opened up, keeping it short, but it was shocking all the same. his pregnant ex-girlfriend was about to have an abortion the next day. maybe most of us are used to hearing such news not me! I was in shock for a couple of minutes as I realized what it actually meant. I thought, in a couple hours a human being would be killed, legally. I was thinking about how fallen, how indifferent, how ignorant and how brutal our human nature is! is there any hope for us at all? "who will rescue me from this body of death?" can anybody or anything rescue us from the absence of love in our hearts? I pray we all find the healing balm for the our eyes of heart, righteous clothes for our filthy bones. what will I give for my eyes to get enlightened? How long will I seek this something that cant be found where I search for it?! "who will rescue me from this body of death?"
