Jack Aikens is a guitar instructor and performing artist living in Eastern Tennessee near the Cherokee National Forrest. He specializes in a variety of styles from Classical to Jazz to Thrash and currently has students enrolled at or studying for entrance to several collegiate guitar/music programs in the East Tennessee area ranging from Classical Guitar at UTC to Bluegrass at ETSU. Story behind the song
April Showers is comprised of several riffs and motifs I had been working with for a while, as a matter of fact the next to last verse almost mirrors another song I have been writing about meth heads that will hopefully do its part to bring some attention to the growing problem we have here in the United States.
