Story behind the song
I thought you guys might like to know there’s been a remix and re-master of “We Need to Believe” … the original of this track (as many might remember) is very special to me, so when the opportunity came up to take this track further, I became rather excited. There is a vocal version by Trulala which was rather controversial at the time, but I feel this version has kept intact what made it special for me and others – and `enhanced` version if you like, now called “I Believe” Since becoming a member of the “Tribe World Ensemble” some of my tracks have been taken down a different road and blessed with world class musicians adding their creative talents, polish and higher production values, which has been intriguing as well as very exciting. David Pendragon and other members of the “Tribe World Ensemble” Mr. `Ernie Van Veen`, of Flag of Democracy fame on guitar, and the drummer is Donovan Gall, with Synth pads played by the talented `Catherine Duc`. The Tribe and I would love to know what members think of this early mix idea … try not to compare it with the original version, but instead see it as an original track in its own right. “I Believe”
