"Joe Huettner makes the world a better place" - Jess Blasko, Ithaca, New York Originally from a small farm in South Central Pennsylvania, JOE HUETTNER's pursuits in music led him to the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where he plans to major in Songwriting. “I don't think people want to hear about sadness all the time, and that seems to be a majority of the songs on the radio now,” says Huettner. “I want to get some happiness out there, but without sacrificing musical quality. However, if a sad song is written, I won't hesitate to let people hear it. Unless it sucks." As well as Songwriting, Joe's interests include playing the electric bass, reading up on Roman history, and being a diehard fan of the Boston Red Sox.

Story behind the song
"I just wanted to have fun. It's about having fun, and that's why I write music in the first place." - J.G.H.
Lyrics
The house is in shambles, and there's bills to pay We're both exhausted, but that don't bother me, babe 'Cause it's a Friday night, and I'm feelin' allright We've got nothin' left to lose The rain's been pourin', and my wallet's runnin' dry With all our problems, it's enough to make us cry But let's forget them a while, and spend the evening in style We've got nothin' left to lose I know you've got some hesitations But I think that relaxation is best I can solve all your problems if you'd only say yes Say yes I'll wear my tie and you can put on your heels We're gonna find out how the high life feels We'll lock the front door and pour a drink or two And dance away these blues... Just watchin' you move to the rhythm Our bodies close together I know a place that's better for dancin' alone So come on We'll drain our glasses and we'll head upstairs I'll dim the lights and you can let down your hair We'll lose our worries and we'll lose our minds We'll lose our clothing one piece at a time, yeah You'll be lost with me, and I'll be lost in you 'Til we've got nothin' left to lose Oh baby, we've got nothin' left to lose
