Unit: E is an Alternative Funk Rock and Soul Unit from the DC area featuring well-seasoned musicians. The Unit created their own style of music infused with trace elements of Alternative, Blues, R&B, AcidRock, Go-Go, Jazz, Reggae, World and more. In 2003, Rodney Dunton and Jeff Hight joined the Unit for live performances. Unit: E has all the elements of a great band - the music is full of passion and raw energy; the lyrics are provocative; the vocals are soulful and sexy; the bass lines are phat; the grooves are infectious. Unit: E offers a refreshing alternative to the mainstream.

Story behind the song
It was around 3 a.m. Most of the other cool cats had left the studio for the night. YT had just finished up at another studio (engineering) and stopped the ranch by for a night cap. Jack n' Ginger. Tall. YT grabbed a Strat, Jeff took hold of the bass, and Evinger got behind the kit. It was the first time these guys had jammed in quite a few months. It was also the first time they'd played together in years. "So whatchoo wanna do YT?" "I dunno," he replied. "how bout a slow blues in A minor?"
