A cool tropical night. Something lurks in the darkness. A rock beat with tribal influences, and goes all chemical beat at the end.
electronica technoorchest
Innovative and intelligent electronica project specializing in symphonic and progressive electronica
I now produce under my real name, Mark Ridlen. Check out my recent work here: http://soundcloud.com/mark-ridlen Introspective Journeys is a one man electronica project that generally goes the way of symphonic/progressive. I have been into writing old school electronica lately, as well as my own blend of orchestral and techno. Like alternate time signatures like 7/8, 12/8, 6/8, or 10/8? I tend to use plenty of those in my music. You might want to check out my industrial/rap sideproject, Isotope Lab. http://www.soundclick.com/isotopelab Big thanks to all my fans (yes all three of you!). I'm getting about 12-60 plays per day, and I would just like to express my thanks for your listening to my music.

Story behind the song
I just started a song with a rock beat and look what happened! I added some spacious tribal drums to make it sound more atmospheric, and then I started making it more and more agressive. Can you tell I listen to Juno Reactor? Anyhow, I then wanted the end to be mosh-pit-spectacular, so I changed the beat a little and added a nice bassline. Then the guitar slide... all synthesized! Sounds real don't it?
