So we have to say goodbye,though i hope its not forever/every time we stare into each others eyes,time would stand and bend for/just a second,but whats affecting my better judgement/is the hold you still have on my,times unwinding and yet no budging/from assumptions of me getting back together, with you my first love, sure comes as a surprise, your eyes/ not meant for mine at this time, no matter how much it hurts me, no matter how hard i try/ ive got to realize that our paths have taken different turns/its time to heal why havnt i broken free, still chained he/ memoeries, left them see, now they'll sit and stew/ill never be the same, remember me as your living through/ the ups and downs, something bound to chains right/ well i guess thats me my destiny be away from her ray of light/ stay the night with me, though i know i couldnt handle it/each day i fight to free, my self from your hands so griped/ to my heart, never planed for it from the start/and though i never wish to change the past the pain grasp so hard/ i feel it in my toes, leaves me froze thinking of why ya see/ this is just a way of saying goodbye for me
