In a way this song is about me and a lot of the people I know who love photography.

catchy rock??? Listen for yourself.
Welcome, there isn't much to say that would make you understand what I do better than just letting you know who I am, which is Jay. I'm the kind of guy who would rather stay inside and write then go outside and play, forever. I'm the kind of guy who falls in love with almost everything, finds it hard to capture it all in a song so has to keep on going. I may be wrong but for me, a good songwriter can't be one that sits back and smells the coffee and relaxes, a real songwriter is basically (in a nice way) tormented by creation, and that is me.

Story behind the song
This song goes out to a friend of mine, it's not ABOUT her life mind you. I just think people with cameras are interesting people. Capturing life to store it away in a frame. To escape to that place again. I love this idea and hope I did it justice. btw, this is a terrible terrible demo in my books...one take on everything. But, it's done.
Lyrics
like every morning before she grabs her camera and smiles as she shuts the door she doesn't feel she belongs but in her pictures nothing seems to be so wrong so she'll take what she gets when she opens her lens she can translate darkness into light negatives reversed save every sight So she aims and shoots again and so it goes she loves her dreams too much to let go with every frame, she's holding on (and on and on) fall to the floor and then she's gone she hides inside her photographs retrace it all from the start remembered afternoons of tears and of broken hearts don't think she'll ever forget the lying and the romance and spent cigarettes she's rewinding the past finding peace at long last taking back the moments that she's lost breathing freedom in at any cost So she aims and shoots again And so it goes she lives her life in super slow-mo with every frame, she's holding on (and on and on) fall to the floor and then she's gone she hides inside her photographs they may not understand the world she holds in her hands 5x7 fantasy places she's always dreamed to be and so it goes she loves her dreams too much to let go with every frame, she's holding on (and on and on) fall to the floor and then she's gone she hides inside her photographs
