SAND, spearheaded by Lucy L, is a ministry with the vision of raising up a new generation of Christians who use their gifting and creativity to serve God in music and the creative arts in Malaysia. SAND, an acronym of “Saved for A New Destiny”, seeks to discover and develop untapped talents in songwriting, singing and performing among Christians and to increase public awareness of local Christian artistes. In June 2002, SAND released its debut album “Sold Out”, a collection of fresh and vibrant songs written by Lucy L and sung by young people from various churches across Penang.
