Experimental alternative Only rule is If it sounds nice its OK Forget music school
The GenreBusters are coming! At least, one of them. PipHanz is a band, of a sort. It consists of one person, me, singing, playing guitars, keyboards, bass, drums and programming loops. It's all recorded onto a computer using pretty low grade sound cards and connecters, and I use precious little time on the 'polishing', unless I want to. It's experimenting music, finding out what sounds good without listening to any of the rules that come with the field. You might like it, you might hate it. Such it is.

Story behind the song
My father was very old and had lived a long a hard life, when I became his son. Later, I have come to understand him more as a person and not just a dad. On a technical note, the song is in the weird meter of 14/8, but that just happened to be the meter the tune in my head was in.
Lyrics
My old man cries alone, cries alone, cries my old man cries alone, cries alone, cries my old man drew his hands looked upon the paper once and sighed he's stooped and crippled when he stands He chased me he danced to my demands I pinned him to the wall My old man cries alone, cries alone, cries my old man cries alone, cries alone, cries my old man sailed the seas fights a million wars inside and out but he cries alone at what he sees Lord, spare him it's better if he can't see anything at all Lord, spare him it's better if he can't see anything at all
