Most often compared to the Texas sounds of Lyle Lovett. A mix of blues feeling, jazz ideas and Southern accent.

Lyrics
Blew My Cool Blues (2004) No, I had no intention to allow myself to mention The way I felt about you last night My cool was just a pretension, a calculated invention But when I saw you looking so right I got the Blew My Cool Blues I got the Blew My Cool Blues I was driven to distraction by that animal attraction I couldn’t keep my eyes in my head I couldn’t help my reaction when you demanded satisfaction And I watched the sun come up from your bed I got the Blew My Cool Blues I got the Blew My Cool Blues I’m normally a picture of restraint But it seems that what I was now I ain’t I don’t know what’s gotten into me You’ve shattered my equanimity I’m trying to keep control but I can’t Now I find myself unable to appropriately label What exactly you have done to my heart Yes, I’m habitually stable but now my soul’s out on the table A victim of your amorous art I got the Blew My Cool Blues I got the Blew My Cool Blues
