I came up with this song one day during a practice, when I discovered the main piano riff. We never really wrote a melody for the song, but we thought it was kinda cool and it sounded a little like a surfing song, so we recorded it and have been using it as an opener at shows. The name came after Scott missed a show for his previous job at KMart, and Cam came up with the title. During the recording process we decided to have a little fun and make the song sound like a real shopping experience. Most of the voices were done by David, although Torry and Cam chipped in too. That's pretty much all of us at the end chanting the song title. If you're curious as to what we're saying, here's a list:
"Attention shoppers: blue light special on barbie dolls and oleander hand lotion."
"Patio furniture, line one."
"Price check on George Foreman grills, register eight."
"Cleanup on aisle five, I say. Gracias."
"Manager to produce."
"Thanks for shopping."
