I wrote this song as a ballad in the classic jazz standard mode. Originally I had words to it, but they're not any good so they're not worth sharing. This song was a little hard to record because with our inexpensive recording equipment, we couldn't get the warm sound from the trumpet that you hear live. In this song I particularly like the descending saxophone lines and the change in feel at the solo section. The only thing I stole for this one was a melody fragment from Miles Davis's "Blue In Green".
