While this is one of my favorite melodies that I've written, I also took the chord progression straight from part of "My Funny Valentine". I originally recorded this on my solo piano album, but the Funk has been playing it live for a long time, and it's eventually turned into David's feature song. I think his solo here is nothing short of exceptional, considering he had a cold that day and said he couldn't hardly hear himself.
