Story behind the song
This is Part II of the song. This begins with an electro styled electro segment... with an organ. And then a feature with the organ. An acoustic guitar makes it's way into the mix and grooves with the help with the gated electro bass line. Then a strong piano line cuts in and takes over. And then it ends in an ambient styled fusion piece... with a hint of alternative and jazz. The purpose of the song was to show how the mind jumps from one subject to another... especially with philosophy. The change can be fast... or slow. Sometimes smooth, other times hectic... But our thought process, just like sound works in music... is the basis of our Soul... emotions of anxiety or calmness... are all factors within our self. We should all embrace this idea and progress and evolve the world into something better than it is now. One way we can do this is through music. However, the main strength is also our weakness. Diversity. We are all different... just like the types of music within the song. Each part is integral in molding the spirit, or the essence, of the whole. However, each is strong enough to be it's own individual part... but how good would it sound then, if each part was divided into segments. Soul Embracing Diversity. So what does it mean? The Soul is the essence of the mixture of sound. The Soul is the essence of the mixture of people. The Embrace is the acceptance that each part surrounds and supports the whole. The Embrace is the acceptance is that each of us, as a people, is connected... united. The Diversity is understanding of all the different forms of music... to know that each form is exactly that: Music. The Diversity is understanding of all the different forms of people (and philosophy)... to know that each is exactly that: People with Ideas. There you have it. The spirit of the song... all from different forms of music, all from different trains of philisophical thought. Thanks, MH.
