I have been mixing sounds for about a year and a half now. Though, I am still not very good, I admit... However, I am here to share something that I love and perhaps maybe take your ears and your mind on a journey to someplace they've never been. I am also on MySpace Music. Feel free to add me! http://www.myspace.com/transcendentalmusic

Story behind the song
This song was actually conceived with the help of a good friend of mine. We talk about philosophy all the time, and coupled with varied forms of music she introduces me to, an idea to create a song based on different philosophies of the mind... as well as set to various forms of music came into being. So without that outlet, the inspiration would not have been created. Quick note: I always try to put a traditional style into something different, or something that you never thought you could hear it in. Very rarely do you hear a cathedral organ, with an electro bass background, an acoustic guitar, and a punk drumset. I think musicians, as a whole, we should always push the limits of conventional music to areas we have yet to take different genres... all the while paying tribute to our traditional musical roots. But that's just my opinion. Part I: It begins with an alternative guitar segment... and different riffs of guitar. Then it transforms... drastically... into an electro feel, then a techno'ish/punk feel... then molding itself into jazz. Notice the differences in tempo all throughout the song, as well. Then from the jazz feel, it escapes into a techno riff... with a thrash drumset, a guitar, synth bells, and then finally a distorted cymbal ride. Finally it slows down a bit into an electro feel again... with a cathedral organ and a funk piano synth... From that, I pay tribute to the rave scene with a stereotypic electro riff. And that's the end of Part I.
