Story behind the song
It got a little complicated but it was fun to put together. A little over 12 hours of concentration. It's one of my longest songs yet, but I felt it was time for an epic. The idea behind the song was to construct a musical representation of an out of body experience. Transcending reality and manipulating the conscious mind into various stages of awareness. I wanted to create something that transcended dance and jazz and electronica into something that blend together and morph in and out like the way the mind travels when released from the body and allowed to drift into it's own representation of existence. Call it dreaming or Zen or what have you, the escape from the shackles of everyday life can metamorphasize the spirit into a state of comfort or bliss, a heaven if you will.
