well i came up with the idea for the song after reading star wars: new jedi order:star by star
in wich my favorite character(anakin solo) died...
imagine your on a mission...slowly but surely everything seem to be impossible...you get 'detected'...you flee...you don't know the place. everywhere could be one of these Vongs(the enemies;)) , everything is strange (its a outergalactic race ;))
the distance between you an the enemies is getting smaller an smaller...a fight is inescapable ..you know your the strongest...you're saying to you're mates that they should leave...Now face to face you gained such a incredible force....but this force is getting smaller and smaller the longer the fight lasts...you're hurt ..you know that there's no way out...you put out a grenade ..your ''start'' the grenade to get your friends some time..
you don't wanna die ...your last seconds are passing.....then finally your a ''force ghost''
- the guitar in the background stands for the place which is somekinda solitude and strange...it's getting more drastic over the time.
- the'melody' in the beginning stands for somekinda voice telling you ''that was a bad idea..this will turn out bad'' on the end it's saying''here you see...i told it to you''
- the bass stands for the yuuzhan vong with the monoton marching.
- the fretless solo is you fighting and begging for your live...
that were my impressions when i wrote the song ;)
