Story behind the song
I was sitting around my apartment and I started recorded part of a song that I can't finish right now that goes with the one I couldn't finish from the other day. I fired up the drum machine to try and find something to put some guitar to and I came up with the chorus. It's about realizing you always have someone to confide in even if you don't have any people around and the constant battle to remember you're never completely alone even when you think so and the power of that knowledge. The verses are about finding God in everything. The bridge is about temptation sneeking up on you scratching at your window. Also a thresher is a shark. It sounded good to me with shepherd so I used it. It's not meant to be an animal shark but a deceitful person.
