Country Music, Songwriter.
Hi, welcome to my music. I've been around a few years now, writing and playing a mixture of styles, from regga to rock and soul to blues.. But whenever I'm just relaxing I find myself listerning to alot of country music and over the years have attempted to write a few country tunes myself. So seeing that time is getting on I thought I should put some of theses ideas together and see what others make of them. I welcome honesty and I don't mind the truth, so any feed back would be welcomed if you could spare the time. some of the songs will just be me and maybe a friend or two helping out with the vocals, so don't expect too much, but please let me know what you think. Having said that, my two songs which have been up for a while have just been studio demo'd. So I take great pleasure in presenting them here. A big thank-you to Mike Mclaughlin at MJM Music Group: www.mjmmusicgroup.com for pulling it all together and turning it around so quickly. And another big thank-you to Kurt & Debrann Johnson for singing and playing so beautifully on the Demos. Thanking you for taking time out to listen.

Story behind the song
It's all about having faith and the joy of sharing that faith with someone, even when things get tough. We all ask the BIG question from time to time, but it's in the little things, a smile, a touch, a shared moment that we find some of the answers.
Lyrics
Verse 1: Now when I spoke to you this morning, I read the smile on your face. Though my question never got answered, All along we knew there was grace. What a difference a day makes, When there’s something to share. This may not be exactly news, But it helps when there’s someone who cares. Verse 2: Now that the bad times are over, We’ve got to make a new start. No looking over our shoulder, We’ve got to play our new parts. Cos time is growing older, Time is moving so fast. This may not be exactly new, But I hope that this feeling can last. Chorus: And you know it’s gonna mean so much, Spread our wings and fly away. Give me your love to touch, Cos when the night is through we’ll find a brand new day. And you know it’s gonna mean so much, Spread our wings and fly away. Give me your love to touch, Cos when the night is through we’ll find a brand new day. Words & Music © Paul William Mattock
