Story behind the song
At band practice one day, the bass player, Charles Wachunas, actually came up with an musical idea! (I never understood why he didnt just turn on the Channel more often, guess he must of thought He actually had something to do with it!) From there, with the seed blossomed, I took the basic 2 chord riff and turned it into a 4 chord key modulated one that became the basis for the verses. Chuck and I both worked out the second heavy pert of each verse, with contributing with the Chorus and the almighty Bridge. I also arranged and wrote/channeled the lyrics, which the parts that are the verses came from a poem called Eyes of Pain that I wrote like 8 years before. I added the chorus, how I managed to even *hear* a melody over the chord progression is still Beyond me, and then the Bridge and Outro which sends the Listener over the Edge of the Insanity started during the warped fade in of the song.
