Story behind the song
This is an angsty track in which I try to heal some very old wounds. Broken home, deadbeat dad, real American story. I will say that this track came about through some axiety about someday being like my father in some way. Some of these things are touched on lyrically, "I look in the mirror, and there you are again". So there is quite a bit of anger and rage here on the surface, but it's driven by uncertainty and dispair.
