Restless Wind is a trio out of San Antonio, Texas. We play folk rock, acoustic folk, and alternative country, or something like that.
Restless Wind is a trio of middle-aged professionals who have returned, as it were, to their musical roots. We play whatever we feel like tackling this week, with not much regard for genre. Our original music tends to resemble folk rock and alternative country, although, as indicated above, we don't much care for traditional genre labels. We just play what we play.

Story behind the song
As with most of our songs, based on a true incident.
Lyrics
I’d wake up in the morning and see the devil in my eyes Knowing that I’d have a day to self criticize ...Wondering what I’d done Nursing wounds of love that I had throughout the night Frightened by the fever that I knew wasn’t right ...All alone I knew that I had broken a sacred code Casting myself in metal A dirty mold...a dirty mold Immersed among the flames of day and the chains of my mind Shackled by decaying thoughts that were passed on through time ...Lost and gone I knew that I had broken a sacred code Casting myself in metal A dirty mold...a dirty mold Angered by inequities and doubtful of sin Blaming pleasures of the heart on a world made of men ...One by one Dreading degradation and imaginary stares Weaving threads of chastity that can’t be repaired ...All undone I knew that I had broken a sacred code Casting myself in metal A dirty mold...a dirty mold
