Story behind the song
A Battle between me and J-Knowledge for control of the ABL. While I was writing it, a discussion about the "N" word came up and I disagreed with just about everyone who was on the board at that time. I decided to cut my battle in half and use the rest of the time to address the issue. Unfortunately I did not have time to rhyme about it like I would have liked, but the full song will be coming shortly. The second part of the song is a freestyle.
Lyrics
B-Original vs. J-Knowledge You see my rhyming desire/ so if you on this site and got a mic/ you in my line of fire/ (First Up) Jae Jae Mid or J-Knowledge/ I'll throw him in a trash bin cause J-Garbage/ He ain't seeing no rap profits check J's pocket/ Nobody spends a dime to listen to J-Nonsense/ I heard your tracks and they bored me/ Only records he'll sell is as a Target employee/ Don't waste time recording nobodies buying it/ The only "J" worth listening to is in retirement/ And your not him, just check your content/ Sound more like B-Real from "Malibu's Most Wanted"/ Your lyrics are trash and your beats are the same/ Your rap's mascot you'll never get in the game/ Skill? he doesn't have an ounce of it/ I'm a real emcee he's just a counterfit/ Dog your not what you claim/ J Knowledge means nothing to me/ I end more careers than corrupt Fortune 500 companies/ But I don't talk grimy real often/ Cause I don't throw dirt on names I throw dirt on coffins/ Approach me with caution choose the option to flee/ Couldn't have J-Knowledge reading S. Carter's Biography/ Beating J isn't a tough task cause I run tracks/ like the champion sprinter in the 100 meter dash/ The "N" Word (abbreviated) Can't leave without addressin' the issue/ with the pain and suffering our ancestors went through/ How can we allow behavior like this to continue/ I need speak on it and hip-hop's the venue/ Is it just me or is the "n word" wrong/ Thats why I'm penning this song to show you my opinions are strong/ You say its just a word well thats absurd/ You must not have heard about the tragedies that occured/ You see the "N" word helped them feel better about the way were treated/ Cause the "N" word aint what a human being is/ I hear the cries of the atrocities/ (Cuts Off)
