Story behind the song

This is kind of an experimental song for me.  I used the keyboard to create this one.  I used a synthesized string sound and I only played along with the metronome during the middle of the piece.  I wanted to get an amoebic, ambient sound.  Perpetual Nothing, perpetual being more rhythmic, nothing being a lack of rhythm.  Oxymoronic, I know, but what isn’t in this life.  I started writing this song and then I thought of a title which inspired a poem which inspired this song.   Let me know what you think.  Too weird?  Too depressing?  Too amoebic?  Too much Shostakovich?  Get a life?
