Story behind the song
Discussion that was overheard between two people reminiscing about Woodstock- the positive experiences using "recreational pharmaceuticals. Said that alteration of perception / state-of-being can open your mind/eyes, causing a moment of "clarity" in vison, even perm. altering one's perception of life, reality...how some who never handled reality well are ones who won't return to their previous state/reality, become enticed by their experience to remain in that state of altered consciousness; addicted to fantasy, addicted. Once free from drugs grasp, forever struggling to remain free: "hearing it calling out how 'delicious!' it was to be that high, tempting & teasing how easy it was to get into the mind, freeing the host from responsibility and reality..." Simple little song that came from a HEAVY conversation!
